The United Church in Meadowood are a people who are seeking and inviting. We endeavour to live out a theology that is grounded in hospitality and in invitation. One ministry, The Gathering Circle, is an alternative worship opportunity that makes space for people to come together as a community. The worship can take place during the 10:30 am Sunday Service or at an alternate time and day of the week. A theme is chosen for each worship and is presented using visuals contemporary music, inspiring stories and personal experience.
The Gathering Circle shares its ministry by involving lay and accountable leadership to mould and shape the worship service. A core value that we attempt to live out is the invitation for others to share their musical gifts and skills. Our intent is to honour, UCiM’s ministry of hospitality and invitation with the lyrics and harmonies of musicians within Winnipeg.
